Photography is the art, application, and practice of creating durable images by recording light, either electronically by means of an image sensor, or chemically by means of a light-sensitive material such as photographic film. For Arnold, this creative outlet is a relaxing way of expressing himself. He prefers to combine ominous objects and bright colors in a single time stopping image.
Some examples of his photography are below.
Arnold uses Canon photography equipment including the latest in DSLR technology. The lenses used are wide angle 10-18mm and standard 18-55mm. No images are digitally enhanced. Images are captured in the last 5 years in and around the Veluwe, a national park in The Netherlands and during Arnold’s travels in Belgium, Germany, Thailand and the United States.
